UNBELIEF IS THE ROOT OF ALL SINS

Romans 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
In the heart of every sin is unbelief. I believe unbelief is more dangerous than sin itself. If we will believe every word that God speaks and act upon them, we will completely live above sin.
Our opening scripture says that, in the New Testament, anything that is not of faith is sin. Why did Adam sin in the beginning? The answer is simple: he didn’t believe what God said concerning the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Why will a man cheat in order to succeed in life? It is simply because that man doesn’t trust God who says, I will supply all your needs through Christ Jesus. Why will someone compromise his or her faith just to get a job or a promotion? It is because that person does not believe God can promote him or her without cutting any corners.
The Holy Ghost came to convict the world of the cardinal sin of unbelief – not believing in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. This tells you the danger of unbelief. And this unbelief is what will send millions to hell. Even in ministry, if you believe God to supply the finances, you will not need to harass people for money and use all kinds of gimmicks to raise funds.
If you believe God is enough to protect you, you will not need to seek help elsewhere. Our faith in God can save us from all kinds of evils in the world. Stay in faith. Stay in the word of God. Believe God always, even when it does not make any sense.
