The worst thing you can do to your day is by listening to the news first in the morning. Rather, connect to heaven’s news for the day through prayer. As you pray in tongues, you will be able to download heaven’s agenda for the day.

You have no idea what early morning prayers can do to your day. The most important activity in your daily schedule is your prayer time with the Holy Spirit. This is non-negotiable – don’t trade that time for anything.

Jesus had the culture of praying first in the morning before stepping out for the day’s business. And by the time He stepped out, demons were screaming for fear. Jesus was ahead of many – before people woke up from sleep and got their day started, He had already set the tone for the day’s activities.

When you spend the first hours of your day praying, you set the tone for the day by the Spirit. And this wisdom will cause the presence of God to saturate your day, thereby bringing you the direction of the Spirit on what to do. Hallelujah!
