PREPARING FOR THE YEAR THROUGH ENVISIONING

Jeremiah 1:11‭-‬12 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. KJV‬‬

What is your vision for this year? How do you see the year? What you see is what determines what you do. Vision gives pursuit. And where there is no vision the people perish (Proverbs 28:19).

Take out some time in this month January to do some envisioning. You must catch a vision for this year. How far do you want to go this year? What are the things that you want to accomplish this year?

What can you see in this year? Do you see lack or abundance? Do you see the difficulties in the economy or the superabounding supplies of God?

Find out what God’s vision is for you this year and pursue it. On his way to Damascus when he encountered Jesus, Paul asked a serious question, What will you have me to do? (Acts 9:6)

God has great plans for you this year. But you must find them out in order to pursue them and seek their manifestation. You can only go as far as you can see. God told Abraham, As far as your eyes can see I have given it to you (Genesis 13:15). You cannot take possession of what you have not seen with your spirit.

Don’t go through this year like every other year. Be intentional about this year. Catch a dream! Catch a vision! Maybe you would want to engage on serious personal evangelism this year? Read a book? Pray for long hours? Perform miracles? Increase in your finances? Go for it!
