PRAYER GIVES WEIGHT TO PRAISES
PRAYER GIVES WEIGHT TO PRAISES

Acts 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. KJV
I remember during our November 2021 Higher Dimensions edition, while l ministered in praise and worship, at a given point, the whole place became heavy. Other members testified that, it was as if there were more people with us than those of us present. Of course these things don’t just happen. Before meetings like this, we give ourselves to intense and long hours of prayers and fasting.
A man who does not pray is a light weight in the realm of the spirit. The element that gives weight to the things we do is prayer. And when it comes to praises, prayer is vital for a successful praise time in the presence of God.
There are praise and worship leaders and choir members who don’t pray. I am wondering how they are going to execute and prosecute their calling as far as ministering in songs is concerned– these folks must be kidding!
For this reason, many of these people have become noise makers. When they minister they don’t strike any chord in the realm of the spirit. The leading praise and worship leaders who are on the cutting edge of ministry, are all men who have given themselves to prayer.
This ministry thing is not carnal; it is spiritual. And to do that well, you must be a man of prayer. I counsel you today in the name of Jesus Christ to give yourself to much prayers and fasting. Then when you praise God, you will see the power of God in demonstration.
