GOD IS NOT TIRED OF SPEAKING

Levitus 6:1 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Throughout the Torah (five books of Moses) you see this phrase, And the LORD spake unto Moses, repeated over and over again. It implies that God is not tired of speaking. As long as there is someone to hear, God will reveal His mind and intent to that person. God loves to commune with His children; He wants us to hear His voice every now and then for the purpose of living by His word. He doesn’t want us to follow our vain imaginations and ways of doing things which always leads to destruction and death.
Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
God wants to lead us by His word. It is important to know that for everything or move Moses made, he heard from God. God gave him instructions on what to do day by day. God gave him a detail plan concerning the Tabernacle. The measurement, nature of fabric and design of the high priest’s garment of Israel was given to Moses by God. How Israel was supposed to camp was given to Moses by God. Even when it came to Moses’ successor, God commanded him to lay hands on Joshua, son of Nun to function in his room. And by God’s word Israel was governed.
In the New Testament which is based on better promises, it is no different. God wants to lead us each step of the way. That’s why we have to be positioned to hear God’s voice every now then for He wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned (Isaiah 50:4). Hearing from God is key to a life of success. I have made it a personal commitment not to move until I hear from God, because His voice brings rest and strength. As the sheep of God, you can hear from God.
John 10:4-5 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
Jesus is our true shepherd. Let us follow His voice. We should love His voice and treasure His sweet leading. God is not tired of speaking; hence we should also not be tired of hearing.
