INSTRUCTION BRINGS WISDOM

Proverbs 9:9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

Wisdom is the key for a successful life. If you lack wisdom, you are set to journey on the hard road of life. Every high flyer in the kingdom functions with the wisdom of God. Wisdom brings wealth; wisdom builds; wisdom directs and instructs and counsels. Wisdom is the master key to a sweatless life of triumph in the kingdom. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom.

Wisdom can be imparted; and one of the ways to impart wisdom is through instruction. Instruction or teaching is a powerful tool to impart the wisdom of God. The word of God is the wisdom of God. When you are fully instructed in the word, you will be wise.

Psalms 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

The truth is that when I came into Christ, I was not a wise person. I was what the Bible will call a simple person; it implies one that lack wisdom or not instructed in the way of wisdom. But now looking back at my life over the years, by God’s grace, I have grown to become wise in the things of God. I can boldly say that the wisdom of God is at work in me. Now I am able to interpret scriptures; I am able to put the word to work in my life and see results; I have the wisdom (sophia) to write and speak the word to dissolve doubts and explain hard sentences.

What is the key? It is very simple: I submitted myself to be taught by anointed instructors of the word in the body of Christ. God was so gracious to me; He brought anointed teachers my way who taught me the word of God. I have imbibed thousands of hours of tapes and books by men of God like Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Joseph Prince, Andrew Wommack, Bishop David Oyedepo, Kenneth Hagin and many others.

Do you want to walk in ever increasing wisdom? Do what I did. I don’t think you need to be a rocket scientist to get this right. All it takes is hunger, humility and a spirit to learn. God gives wisdom to the man who seeks. Go for wisdom. Go for the tapes of anointed and trusted teachers of the word, and school yourself into the wisdom of God and you will be flying on high above the storms of life.
