THE MOST IMPORTANT ACTIVITY IN YOUR DAILY SCHEDULE
THE MOST IMPORTANT ACTIVITY IN YOUR DAILY SCHEDULE

Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Faith gives you certainty. Anything that has no certainty does not have the element of faith in it. By saying that, I mean you can actually have a glorious day in each day of the week, month and year. This is not a myth; it is a reality. Scripture says, the path of the just is as the shining light; shining brighter and brighter until the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18).
Some where last year, I stressed the need for spending your first hours of the morning with Jesus to our members at church. There is something special about spending your first hours of the day with God; don’t take it for granted. It is a valid principle in the scriptures. Unfortunately, many don’t know this ancient truth. This is what most folks call it “quiet time”. It is more important than any activity in the daily schedule of a man.
This is what actually set the right tone for each day. God has to be first in all that we do. Someone may ask, can’t I pray at any other time in the day? You sure can; but it is of necessity you spend the first hours of your day with Jesus. It is part of the “principle of the first fruit offering”. According to the principle of the firstfruit, if you give God the first, the rest is sanctified. Hence the way to sanctify your day is to give God the first hours of your day to Him.
It implies that the moment you wake up from bed, the first thing you should do is to talk to the Lord in prayer, in worship and study of the word. This is so important and I wish I have enough words to push this into you. Jesus knew this secret; always He woke up early and spent time with the Father. Thus the moment He stepped out, demons were screaming for fear and diseases could not stand His presence.
Just imagine beginning your day with speaking in tongues and making faith filled confessions; what a day you are going to have! You will have the wisdom to handle the day, having received instructions from heaven. And by the time you step out, you have already disarmed all the forces of hell and set the right tone for the day. Then all through the day, you set your mind on the Lord while you are on your job, being conscious of His abiding presence. There is no way you are going to fail.
