Genesis 11:6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

By far the gift of imagination is one the most treasured possession God has blessed the human race with. God is a God of imagination. When God wanted to create this world, He first imagined what kind of world He wanted to create before He began creation.

Every human is blessed with the gift of imagination; it is not for some selected few; it is for all men on the face of the earth.

To imagine means to think in pictures; it is seeing things in pictures. And in essence we all think in pictures. If I say “red apple”, you do not see the word “red apple”. What you see is an apple which is red in colour. If you send me to your house to pick up something for you, the direction that you will give me will be based on the pictures of your house on your mind. What you do is to picture where the object is in your house.

Thus you can use the gift of imagination to create any kind of life that you want. What kind of life do you desire to live? What kind of world do you desire to live in? You must first see this world in pictures and imagine it till it saturates your system.

For me I only see a glorious future. I don’t picture myself being sick, broke and dying. I see a glorious ministry ahead of me; I see a world of prosperity and progress, for as a man thinks in his heart so is he (Proverbs 23:7). It can also read thus, as a man sees himself so is he.

The church in the wilderness saw themselves as grasshoppers before the men of Anak; and that was exactly what they became. They could not go beyond what they saw themselves. God gave them the land by inheritance when He gave it to Abraham their father. What they needed to do was to go in and possess the land.

But because of unbelief, they could not enter the Promised Land. They could not see themselves possessing the land. In life, you will end up where you see yourself. See yourself the way God sees you. Hallelujah!
