1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Sometime ago, the Holy Spirit taught me one vital truth about emphasizing the grace of God. He taught me that when someone asked me how are you? I should not just say that I am good; but I should say that I am good by God’s grace. Later on, I began to understand that what the Holy Spirit was teaching was “grace emphasis”.
I know most people say, by God’s grace I am good; but to them it’s just a cliché. As the body of Christ, our emphasis and main thrust should be the grace of God. And the more we exalt and emphasize grace, the more we will reign in this life (Romans 5:17).
Learn to even speak on your achievements with grace emphasis. Don’t talk about your achievements and accomplishments with a sense of arrogance. Be humble in your celebrations and let everyone know that you are what you are and have what you have by the grace of God.
Grace makes everyone of us humble. And grace is for the humble for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5)
If what you have is by the grace of God, where is the boasting then? The more you rest on the grace of God, the more your achievements increase. You have to constantly remind yourself that you are nothing without the grace of God.
Brother Jerry Savelle will always say, that’s the Favour of God when any good thing happens in his life. And the more he says that, the more he enjoys the Favour of God. It is no wonder people call him “Mr. Favour”. Emphasize God’s grace in your life today!
