THE POWER OF THE RAIN OF THE SPIRIT

Isaiah 32:15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
While we had a 30 day fasting and prayers at church sometime ago, in one of the nights, I shared with our brethren a significant scenario in life as regards to rainfall.
Sometimes you look around during the dry season and all you see is a bare ground with no vegetation on it – in your mind there is nothing on this land. But after a while when the rain starts pouring down, you will realise that this same bare ground has started producing vegetation.
Someone may ask, where were all these plants? They were seeds in the ground waiting for the right environment to blossom. Dr. Morris Cerrulo once said, truth is parallel. What is true in the natural can be true in the spirit.
Your life may be like a bare ground with no manifestations of the Spirit – don’t despair. What you need to do is to start making the investment of consistent prayer and fasting.
Fasting and prayer is the key to cause the rain of the Spirit to fall on your life. As you engage this kingdom mystery on a consistent basis, you will realise that, giftings you never knew you had will start manifesting.
All of a sudden the prophetic wells will start opening and you will begin to see the visions of God and enjoying the leadings of the Spirit, bringing you amazing fruitfulness in Christ Jesus.
