One of the things that I am very grateful to God for is that, I grew up as a young Christian under a praying Pastor. Our church was not the most fancy in town with all the equipment and modern technology; our pastor was not the flamboyant type. But one thing was certain about our Pastor, He was a praying man, full of power. He was a man who believed in miracles.

MAKE YOURSELF AVAILABLE FOR GOD’S GRACE

Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

This scripture is so frightening! It is a hammer to crush religion. The grace of God as powerful as it is, can be frustrated and made void. It is inconceivable for someone to position himself not to be blessed by God. But many of God’s folks are wrongly positioned hence they are not fully enjoying God’s favor and blessings. Spiritual positioning is a key to receive from God. In fact, if you are not positioned spiritually, you cannot win in the kingdom of God.

NOT OBSERVANCE OF THE LAW BUT SONSHIP

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

What law did my daughter Charis need to obey in order to become my daughter? None! She was born as my child. What law does my daughter need to obey before she inherits my wealth? None! She is heir to my wealth because of birth. This is the way our relationship with God is. We were born to inherit the blessing. Christianity is all about sonship as opposed to slavery under the Old Covenant. Sonship liberates while slavery results in bondage.
