GOD WILL NOT ENTERTAIN SMALL SINS IN HEAVEN

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

For some believers you cannot get away with the big sins, but you can get away with the little sins. This is not true with God. God’s eyes are too pure to behold evil; He cannot stand evil, it’s size notwithstanding. Our opening scripture is so clear on this. What it is saying is that, the man who is guilty of lying is as guilty as murder – you break one, you are guilty of all; this leaves no one with a chance to make it by himself.

GO TO THEM THAT SELL AND BUY GREATNESS

Matthew 25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

Anyone can be great in his field of endeavour. One key that Jesus gave to us is to go and buy from those that sell. Who are you learning from? Who is inspiring you to greatness? In my journey of life, I have had mentors in my life who have inspired me to greatness. I have read books and listened to tapes of great men of God that I aspired to.

No one in his right mind will reject God. God is kind; God is gracious; God is most loving; God is long suffering and God is ever merciful and excessive in kindness. Why would anyone in his right mind reject such a God?

GOD DOES NOT HEAR YOU BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOT SINNED

Numbers 16:46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the Lord ; the plague is begun.

In the Old Testament, God commanded the priests to take fire from the brazen altar to burn incense. Any fire outside the brazen altar is termed a “strange fire”. Strange fires are an unapproved fires; anyone who offered any sacrifice with fire other than the one from the brazen altar was rejected and received instant judgment from God.

Guess work will not take you far. It only births frustrations upon frustrations. No one succeeds in life by guess work. Guess work only leads to assumptions; and assumptions leads to frustrations. You cannot be guessing with your marriage, ministry, carrier, business, etc. The cost is too high; it is just not safe. You need the accuracy and precision of the Spirit.

Sometimes ministers ask the congregation, which of the gifts of the Spirit do you desire? Some folks will say, I want the gift of prophecy; others the gift of word of knowledge; while others the gift of working of miracles or healing.

THE SENSE OF SECURITY BRINGS REST

When is night and you are about to sleep, you realise that you become at rest the moment you lock your doors-that sense of security gives you peace of mind to sleep well. When you know that your locks are not secured, you feel insecure which brings unrest.
