Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

In the old testament, God revealed Himself to His people by different names. It will do you a lot of good to study those names of God in the Old Testament. God revealed Himself as Elshaddai, meaning “The Strong Breasted One” ; it speaks of the maternal side of God, being able to nourish and supply your needs.

Ezekiel 37:7‭-‬8 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.‬ KJV

Speaking God’s word to situations is one of the most powerful ways of effecting changes on negative circumstances and situations and right in the Ezekiel 37, the Holy Spirit has outlined the principle of how you can bring life into dead situations.

HEARING BRINGS MORE

Luke 8:18‭ Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

When Jesus taught that we should take heed how we hear, He went on to say that, to him that has, more shall be given to him and to him that has not, even what he has shall be taken from him. What it implies is that, the more you hear, more is added to you but the one who does not hear, even what is supposed to come to him through his hearing of the word will be taken away from him – he ends up as a loser.
