Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

A mountain could be any obstacle, disease, financial lack or any thing that causes worry and anxiety. But what ever your mountain is, it can be moved according to scriptures. You have to believe what the Bible says concerning your mountain and not what the experts and the world are saying.

Jesus gives us the reason why mountains don’t move: unbelief. And I believe more than ever, this generation is baptized in unbelief than generations gone by. If you are gong to walk by faith in this age, you will require a lot of discipline and tenacity in the word of God to do so. This generation is so fleshly minded; they believe what the senses tell them than what the word of God tells them.

Deuteronomy 28:12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. KJV

David had only a sling and stone when he came out against Goliath. God anointed that sling and stone and it slayed the giant. God anointed Joseph’s ability to interpret dreams to bring him out of prison and made him second in command in the whole land of Egypt.

The anointing plus nothing equals zero. You don’t prosper by the anointing alone. It is the combination of the anointing with your skill, gift or business that brings the prosperity.

John 10:10-11 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

This is by far the peak of redemption. Jesus came to give us life; this is life from the dead. In Adam we all died; this is spiritual death. When Adam sinned, death came upon all men not by the effort of any man but because of Adam's sin of disobedience. Rom 5:17 says, “For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”

Every man born into this world was born into death. It just happens automatically. In the mind of justice, all men yet unborn died with Adam because of Adam's sin. Hence all unbelievers are living in the realm of death. It does not matter the way an unbeliever may be garnished on the outside; the truth is that, he is a dead man.

Deuteronomy 33:12 And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.

This is the blessing that Moses the man of God proclaimed upon the tribe of Benjamin. What a blessing! I want you to think and mediate on this opening scripture deeply and suck the juice from it. When this revelation dawns on you, you will become fearless.

We live in a fearful world where evil is on the rise everyday. We are faced with terror attacks, pestilence, disease outbreak, accidents, witchcraft activities and a host of other satanic activities. One wonders if the world is safe to live in!

The word of God is so powerful! By it God created the world and everything that dwells in it. The huge sun and moon and myriads of stars came into being as a result of God’s word. God knew the power of His word hence He did not need any material substance to create anything in the beginning; He just spoke and nature made a giant leap into being. So, we see that the world was created from non-existing material.

God so loved us and gave us His word to help us chart our course in life. Today, we have the scriptures for our advantage. But the word on the pages of the scriptures will do you no good. Don’t be surprised; this is simple truth. That’s why someone can hold the Bible on his chest and will still be having nightmares. The devil is not afraid of the Bible. Even the word in your heart may only do you some good; but when you put it in your mouth and speak it, then there will be power for the miraculous.
