John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Having read different books, listened to lots of messages, some claiming to be giving you the keys and secrets to success, which are very important, I have come to one conclusion, the true secret to success in life is the Holy Ghost.

True success will elude you without the Holy Ghost. Let me explain: of course I believe in the study of the word, prayer, fasting, attending church regularly, reading books, listening to tapes which are very essential for your Christian growth and walk. But the truth is that it is the Holy Ghost who can guide even into reading the right materials; in fact, He will bring the right materials your way as you have the desire to grow and become better in life.

James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

We can choose to create an atmosphere of love or one of strife and disorder. The choice is up to us. Atmospheres have power; and atmosphere determines what grows there. Whatever you want to grow in your life you can create it if you know what to do. And whether you know it or not, you are creating things all the time by your thinking, confessions and actions.

God is love; and love is God. And where there is love there is God. And where there is God there is joy and peace. Hallelujah! From our opening scripture, we were told that where there is envying and strife, there is confusion and every evil work. It implies that where there is strife, you don’t really need to pray for confusion and every evil work; it is sure they will come. Thus strife and envying is the atmosphere for confusion and every evil work.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

God truly cares about your pocket; the implication is that God does care about your finances. Financial prosperity is God’s will for you; don’t let religion tell you different. On the cross, Jesus became poor that you might be made rich. This is one particular thing that was specifically mentioned in scripture that talks about what Jesus really became on the cross for the divine exchange.

When you hear religious preachers preach, it is as if God does not care about our financial lives. Some even tell you that if you have too much money, you may end up losing your salvation. This is ridiculous! It is my opinion that God wants you to have plenty of money. God wants you to have money but He does not want money to have you; this is what God is concerned about.

SIN HAS BEEN DEFEATED

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

I tell people all the time that sin is not the believer’s problem. And any time I make this kind of statement, I could see shock written all over people’s faces. Many still don’t get this simple truth I have been trying to share over the years. If you don’t know in truth that sin is not the problem of the believer in Christ, your struggle with sin continues.

Our opening scripture is crystal clear on the destiny of sin. Sin has two sides: it is first a nature then an act. We inherited our sinful nature from Adam. When Adam sinned against God in the garden, he passed on to all men the sin nature which is the nature of the devil. Scripture calls it the _“the spirit that works in the children of disobedience”_ (Ephesians 2:2). And both the sin nature and the sinful act were all defeated by Christ on the cross. He nailed it to the cross forever.

SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

One time while Jesus was going to Jerusalem He got hungered. On seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, He came closer to it peradventure He may find anything on it. When He got there, He found nothing on it; upon this he cursed the fig tree. By the next morning, the fig tree was dead from its roots.

Jesus came to teach us how to subdue circumstances around us. He showed us how we can tame the forces of hell and nature. It is very frustrating when you are not in control of the happenings of your life. God did not create us to be victims in life. The new creation was made a superior being to the devil, the world and the circumstances of life. We are supposed to be in charge.
