Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. NASB

Faith is what gives value and colour to the Christian life. Without faith, Christianity will just be another dead religion with no power. It is very important that you give heed to the word of faith and get to know how faith works. It will do you a lot of good.

Faith has two sides; it is very important you get to know this truth. Firstly, faith is a “shield”. Ephesians 6:16 says, “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” As a shield, it serves as a defensive weapon against satanic opposition. It quenches all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, NKJV

Anyone who follows the leading of the Spirit will never fail in life. He will always triumph irrespective of what may be happening in this world. The Spirit is life; and His leading will always produce life.

Andrew Wommack told a story years ago about how he was saved just by following the leading of the Spirit. He had been scheduled to preach in a certain country. All arrangements have been made; the meeting has been advertised and the people were in great anticipation of the meeting with the man of God.

GRACE IS FOR THE LEAST, LAST AND LOST

Ephesians 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Among the three greatest virtues in scripture, faith is the least of them (1 Corinthians 13:13). And yet it is the virtue for supernatural accomplishments. Scripture says, without faith is impossible to please God. It did not say without love or hope, but without faith you cannot please God.

Even though faith is the least of these three virtues (faith, hope and love), it is what will deliver you into your inheritance in Christ. This tells you that God delights in the least.

John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. NKJV

Faith is the “victory”. Notice it is not a “victory” but the “victory”. And faith doesn’t wait for things to happen; faith makes things happen. Faith is the force required for the supernatural happenings in the kingdom of God. Every man who is waiting for things to happen has taken the stand of a victim.

In life, you are either a victor or a victim. You have to decide where you belong. Victims allow things to happen to them, whether good or bad. On the other hand, victors do not wait for anything to happen to them; they determine what happens to them. Victory compels the situations of life to work for their good.

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. NKJV

The life that we have received from God in Christ is the overcoming life. Our theme scripture says, whatsoever that is born of God overcomes the world. Notice the word “overcomes” is in the present active tense. This means that the new creation in Christ Jesus overcomes and continues to overcome the world and its systems.

Nothing in this world should subdue the believer in Christ. We are more than conquerors according to God’s word. You were not born to be a victim in this life. You were born a victor and a winner; you were born to win. Failure is not in your genes; your genetic make up forbids anything called failure.
