John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Eternal life is resurrection life. Receiving eternal life means being raised from the dead. When you lead someone to Christ, what has happened is that you have raised that fellow from the dead – spiritual death.

The resurrection of Jesus is the biggest event in human history. The death of Jesus is awesome – it paid for the sins of the entire human race but the resurrection is greater – it consummated the entire work of redemption.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Today, we live in a world that it seems as if the church has become corrupt and society seems to have lost respect for church and pastors; and this is simply because some wrong elements have crept into the church and are causing this havoc and I boldly say that most of these false and funny pastors are not of God. It is the devil who has sent these people into the church to defile the church and to give it a bad name among men, with an eye of making people reject the gospel of Jesus.

You are blessed believing even though you haven’t seen it yet. Thomas would have been greatly blessed if he had believed when the disciples told him that the Lord is risen from the dead, but he doubted in unbelief.

And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

When Daniel understood by the writing of the prophet Jeremiah that the desolation of Jerusalem was supposed to be 70 years, he set his face to seek God by prayer and supplications, fasting, sackcloth and ashes and as he prayed, there was a breakthrough and Israel came out.
