SET THE TIME FOR YOUR MIRACLE

Psalms 102:13‭-‬14 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust

Too many of God’s folks don’t know how to initiate their miracle or the things they desire to receive from God. Many have waited too long for nothing. If you ever ask them, they will tell you, I am waiting on God. The truth is that God has been waiting for them all this while to initiate their miracle. Now don’t get me wrong; I believe in being patient on the Lord. But waiting for seven years on God in order to be filled with the Holy Ghost is unnecessary.

Several years ago, I attended a youth all-night prayer meeting, where a young dynamic evangelist was ministering. One of the high points of that meeting was a lady who received the Holy Ghost and for the first time in her Christian life, she spoke in tongues. This lady was so excited; it was a dream come true. It is rather unfortunate that these days, this is not the passion of most believers; speaking in tongues means nothing to them.

What struck me in the lady’s testimony was that she had waited for seven years before speaking in tongues. This young lady has gone from meeting to meeting just to speak in tongues but to no avail. Every Evangelist who was in town, she attended his meeting. This is absolutely unnecessary in the New Testament where Jesus had come and died and emancipation has been declared to all men. What was her problem? Ignorance! The Bible says, for lack of knowledge my people perish (Hosea 4:6). What she needed to know was truth.

Deuteronomy 16:16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty:

There is no such thing as serving God without money; it does not exist. It only exist in the minds dreamers or probably stingy folks. If you know your Bible very well, you will know without a shadow of a doubt that God is served with substance also. All through scripture, you will see that folks who walked with God made one sacrifice or the other to God.

For instance, Abel was the first man to give God an offering as recorded in scripture. And that was the introduction of the first fruit offering; and God called it a more excellent sacrifice.

Abraham served God with substance. David said, I will not offer to God that which will not cost me. David did not only give God an offering, rather he gave God a big sacrifice. Solomon offered so many burnt offerings to God that the altar couldn’t handle the enormous sacrifices. And at Gibeon when he offered a thousand burnt offering, God appeared to him and gave him a blank cheque and he became the wisest man that ever lived before Jesus.

PUT THE WORD IN YOUR MOUTH

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

The word of God is so powerful! By it God created the world and everything that dwells in it. The huge sun and moon and myriads of stars came into being as a result of God’s word. God knew the power of His word hence He did not need any material substance to create anything in the beginning; He just spoke and nature made a giant leap into being. So, we see that the world was created from non-existing material.

God so loved us and gave us His word to help us chart our course in life. Today, we have the scriptures for our advantage. But the word on the pages of the scriptures will do you no good. Don’t be surprised; this is simple truth. That’s why someone can hold the Bible on his chest and will still be having nightmares. The devil is not afraid of the Bible. Even the word in your heart may only do you some good; but when you put it in your mouth and speak it, then there will be power for the miraculous.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

One of the ministry of the Holy Ghost is that of a guide. As a tour guide He knows your business inside out. He knows how to help you avoid the pitfalls and soar above the storms of life. He is your guide to enviable success. The man without the Holy Ghost is blind; he is groping in the dark.

It is the Holy Ghost that can shed light on your business and career for you to know which path to take. But you have to ask for His wisdom and direction. This is what the wisest man in the world before Jesus came said:

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths
