JESUS CHRIST: THE SENT ONE

Galatians 4:4-5 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Scripture calls Jesus the Apostle of our confession. An “apostle” means a “sent one”. And Jesus is the “Sent One” who was sent by God to bring eternal salvation to all men.
Our theme scripture talks about “when the fullness of time was come”. It means that Jesus came at the time that it was right for Him to come. Why was the time of Abraham not the fullness of time? Why was not the time of Moses the fullness of time?
