Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

In the old testament, God revealed Himself to His people by different names. It will do you a lot of good to study those names of God in the Old Testament. God revealed Himself as Elshaddai, meaning “The Strong Breasted One”; it speaks of the maternal side of God, being able to nourish and supply your needs.

One time God met Moses and told him that there is a new revelation in town which your fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob did not know. Exodus 6:2‭-‬3 says, “And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.”

Ezekiel 37:7‭-‬8 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.‬ KJV

Speaking God’s word to situations is one of the most powerful ways of effecting changes on negative circumstances and situations. And right in the Ezekiel 37, the Holy Spirit has outlined the principle of how you can bring life into dead situations.

You will realize that when Ezekiel prophesied the first time to the dry bones, there was a noise and bones came together, flesh came upon the bones, but there was no life – thus it was still a dead situation even though there had been shaking and joining of bones. Scripture tells us that there was no life in them – it was just dead corpses. And if life is not imparted into them, they will return back to the dry bones’ situation by the force of decomposition and decay.

Luke 8:18‭ Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

When Jesus taught that we should take heed how we hear, He went on to say that, to him that has, more shall be given to him. And to him that has not, even what he has shall be taken from him. What it implies is that, the more you hear, more is added to you. But the one who does not hear, even what is supposed to come to him through his hearing of the word will be taken away from him – he ends up as a loser.

This is what makes the difference in a church – those who are hearing and those who are not. You realize that in a church, those who hear the word more, gets better than those who don’t. The more you hear the word, the more divine health comes to you; the more you hear the word, the more life comes to you; the more you hear the word, the more power is granted you.

Deuteronomy 2:24‭-‬ Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.‬‬

Even though God has already given you the land to possess, there will be opposition set to hinder you from entering your inheritance. The devil is not just going to sit down to watch you enjoy life in Christ. You have to know that so that you will fortify yourself and get ready to make war to take your place in Christ Jesus.

There is nothing like living in this world without opposition. Some people are looking for a life without any opposition; that life is not here on earth; it is up there in heaven. As long as you live on this earth, you will face opposition; so stir up yourself for it. Be ready to face the devil squarely.

Psalms 103:5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

There is a connection between your mouth and your health. If you desire to walk in perpetual health then you have to start checking the confessions of your mouth. A lot of people’s sickness is as a result of what they have been saying.

Unknowingly to many, they are the ones shooting themselves in the foot. Here in our opening scripture, we see the connection between our mouth and the renewal of our youth. The Lord satisfies your mouth with good things (revelation of His word) which enhances the renewal of your youth. Your youth being renewed means your body remaining young.
