LAUGHTER - A PRODUCT OF CHRIST'S RESURRECTION

Scripture tells us that Abraham and Sarah were stricken in age at one time, and it has ceased to be with her the manner of women. Yet God had promised this couple a son to be born by Sarah. Sarah’s womb was as good as dead – it was dead! But out of this dead womb came Isaac, whose name means “laughter”.
Sarah’s womb is a picture of death but out of that death came life – this is a picture of the resurrection of Christ. The new Creation is a product of the resurrection of Christ – we were raised together with Christ and made to sit together in the heavenly places. This implies that the life that was given to us at Christ’s resurrection was “laughter”. Glory to God!
Your life as new creation is that of laughter and joyful celebrations. Some Christians believe that the life of the believer is that of pain, sorrow and struggling but that is not true and I am in no way saying that you will not face challenges in this world. As far as you are in this world you will face challenges. But the challenges are meant for your promotion.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. KJV
Apostle James said that we should count it all joy when we face diverse tests (James 1:4). You were born into laughter – a life of glorious celebrations and triumph. Don’t yield to the depressions of this world – stand tall in faith and resist the enemy. Maintain your joy in all circumstances. Laugh your way into endless victories. You were not called to live a depressed and defeated life. You were made for winning – never settle for less.
