Psalms 68:11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

God only gives the word. But it is not God who is going to publish the word. We have to know where we come in as a church as far as the publishing of the word of God is concerned. The pastor is not the one who gives the word. The minister’s responsibility is to publish the word. And greatness is conferred only on those who publish the word.

Psalms 68:11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

God is the only one who gives the word. The word of God is God’s word. We cannot get it from anywhere else. The scripture was given by God’s breath or the inspiration of God. And as we read and study the word, the revelations that we receive comes from the Holy Spirit, who is the breath of God.

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Refreshing strengthens you. We live in a world full of stress and demands that sometimes take so much energy out of us. Even physically, we need moments where we go somewhere to refresh ourselves by taking time out of busy schedules and spending time relaxing. These are times of Refreshing.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

When you preach pure grace, some folks reaction is, don’t you think this preaching will make people sin the more? This kind of reaction lets me know that I am preaching pure grace. To some of these people, you need to tell people that if they don’t live right they will burn in hell.

GRACE FOR REIGNING

GRACE FOR REIGNING

Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Contrary to popular opinion, grace is not a license to sin. Rather grace is what makes you reign in life by Jesus Christ. Grace is the all encompassing gospel of Jesus Christ and it is the power of God unto salvation. Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
