1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 

Grace is also the ability of the Spirit at work in us. There is Grace to function in the things of God. It is from that store of grace in us that we draw strength from to live victoriously in Christ.

Noah found grace in the sight of the Lord and he was preserved from the destruction of the flood (Genesis 6:8); Joseph found grace in the sight of the Potiphar and he was promoted; Ruth found grace in the sight of Boaz and qualified her for abundance (Ruth 2:2, 10); Esther obtained favour in the sight of all that looked upon her and she was chosen and accepted above all other women(Esther 2:15, 17);

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection;

It is very difficult to nurture people who are not ready to go to the next level. I mean folks who are dull of hearing. Apostle Paul in writing to the Hebrew believers, admonished them to leave the elementary principles of Christ and move on to maturity. That means it is time to go to higher levels of Christian virtues and revelations. Paul had wanted to share lots of truths with them but he could not for they were dull of hearing.

Galatians 4:1‭-‬2 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be Lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.‬‬

Babies cannot take care of themselves. It is not possible. It will be wrong to give birth to a child and leave him to fend for himself. The baby has to be fed; his diaper has to be changed; he needs to be bathed from time to time; the baby needs to be dressed. The list just goes on and on. Spiritually is the same. Babies are people who always need the Pastor for everything. They cannot handle things on their own. The danger is that, the day you cannot reach the Pastor, then there is trouble.
