I learned this valid secret from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome one time while listening to one of his tapes. Let me explain. Exodus 12:23 For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

You can only punish an offence once. To punish the same offence twice will be travesty of justice; such a jury is not worth his salt.

One cardinal thing about the Passover lamb that was killed in Egypt was that, there is already a death here (in the house where the lamb’s blood has been sprinkled and meat eaten). The message is, death angel, you cannot come in here; there is already a death here.
