2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
If you know your Bible very well, one thing you will realise about the devil is that, he has not changed his tactics. He uses the same old tricks on all of us. He did the same thing to Jesus. When He came to Adam and Eve in the garden, he made them to doubt God’s goodness and questioned God’s faithfulness to keep His word.
The devil came to challenge what God has said to Adam. And Adam sinned against God because he doubted God’s word given to him. The devil told Adam that God was hiding something wonderful from them that’s why He has forbidden them not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Unfortunately, Adam bought into the lie of the devil and plunged the whole world into chaos.

DO NOT FORSAKE WISDOM

2 Chronicles 10:6-8 And king Rehoboam took counsel with the old men that had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, saying, What counsel give ye me to return answer to this people? And they spake unto him, saying, If thou be kind to this people, and please them, and speak good words to them, they will be thy servants for ever. But he forsook the counsel which the old men gave him, and took counsel with the young men that were brought up with him, that stood before him.
If you are going to succeed in life, it is going to be by the wisdom of God. If you lack or forsake wisdom, you will suffer greatly in life; it is not a pronouncement of a curse but that’s the truth. Unfortunately, so many of God’s folks lack wisdom for living hence their sufferings and troubles.
From our opening scripture, the story is told of a young king name Rehoboam, the son of Solomon. After he was enthroned as king, all Israel came to him to plead with him to relief them of the burden his father placed on them.
