Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

There is nothing that you can do to make God to accept you. Not even the best of your good works can make God accept you. Neither will your sins make Him reject you. God accepted us because of Jesus. What Jesus did on the cross reconciled all men legally to God. Those who believe are reconciled to God and divinely accepted vitally.

Hebrews 13:5 says, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” The word “never” in the Greek means “no never” – it is a double negative which connotes a strong negation. What it implies is that God will never, never leave you nor forsake you His beloved.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

When your priorities are wrong in your life, everything falls apart. One key to success in life is keeping the main thing the main thing. When we major in the minor, and minor in the major, there will be chaos in our lives.

What the church has done over the years is to minor in the major thing. Our opening scripture says, the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes. “The” is a definite article. It implies that the gospel of Jesus is the only power to save, heal and deliver men.

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Jesus knew we couldn’t live the life that He brought to us all by ourselves. For that reason He sent us the blessed Holy Ghost to be with us and guide us through this life. Jesus said, it is expedient, needful and advantageous, that I go away in order for the Comforter, the Holy Spirit to come.

There is nothing much that we can achieve without the help of the Holy Ghost. After Jesus’ resurrection, the disciples of Jesus had the greatest news and headline article of all time to tell men everywhere. But Jesus knew if they go out by themselves they will fail. So He told them: And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:49)

Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

If you don’t read this scripture in context, you will not appreciate it that much. So, let us look at it in context: Ephesians 3:8‭-‬10 says, Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; 9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: 10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Apostle Paul says that, his intention of preaching the gospel is to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, so that the church will teach the principalities and powers the many-sidedness of the wisdom of God.

YIELD TO THE HOLY GHOST

Job 26:13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

The Holy Ghost is here to garnish your life. It means He is here to beautify your life. The Holy Ghost can make a beauty out of your life if you let Him. His ministry to you is that of a glorious one which brings the beauty of Jesus out of you.

The problem with many of God’s people is that we haven’t learned to yield our lives to the Holy Ghost. Many haven’t considered His person and ministry in their lives. Others are not even conscious of Him. While others disobey and resist the Holy Ghost.
