And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. Genesis 45:7

Joseph's brethren sold him into slavery and he found himself in the land of Egypt. Through series of events, Joseph became the second in command in all of Egypt; infact, it was Joseph who was ruling Egypt at that time.

His brethren came to the land to buy corn. And there Joseph made himself known unto them. Through hindsight, Joseph knew that it was God who sent him ahead to preserve the lives of his family and the rest of the world.

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Dr. Myles Munroe of blessed memory once said, “The richest place on planet earth is not the gold mines and oil fields, but the cemetery because there you find unfulfilled potentials.” This is so true if you have the right perspective of life. Potentials are more valuable than any material object in this world.

Right there in the cemetery are a lot of folks with unfulfilled dreams. Some discovered it but couldn’t live it; while others did not even know there was something in them that could revolutionize their world. Don’t let this be your case. There are unwritten books inside you – write them; there are messages yet unpreached inside you – preach them; there are business empires in you – build them; there are lives that need to be touched – touch them. This is the declaration of Apostle Paul after a life well lived:

John 1:1, 4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

As believers in Christ Jesus we need to be vigilant as in what we allow into our system. It is either you are pouring divinity or carnality into your soul. The reason for many carnal manifestations we see in the church is simply because many of God’s children have not poured divinity into their soul. For many, the word of God is not a priority.

The word of God contains the divine life of God. It is the seed of God. It is also the breath of God. When God breathes into you, life has been poured into your soul. Hence when you open your Bible to study or read, or read an anointed book or listen to an anointed teaching, you are actually pouring divinity and life into your spirit.

THE DANGER OF REJECTING GRACE

Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

As you study the word of God, one of the things most people have ignored over the years is the thing that was said that was not actually said. I learned this valid secret from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome one time while listening to one of his tapes. Let me explain. From our opening scripture, if you take a critical look at this scripture, you will see what has been said that was not actually said.

When you receive abundant grace and the gift of righteousness you reign in this life by one Jesus Christ (this is what was actually said). The opposite is true: those who reject grace and the gift of righteousness will be subdued in life with the world where satan is the god of the system – they will be subject to sickness and failures (this is what was said that was not actually said). This is dangerous!

Exodus 12:23 For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

You can only punish an offence once. To punish the same offence twice will be travesty of justice; such a jury is not worth his salt.

One cardinal thing about the Passover lamb that was killed in Egypt was that, there is already a death here (in the house where the lamb’s blood has been sprinkled and meat eaten). The message is, death angel, you cannot come in here; there is already a death here.
