WHAT TO DO WITH TREMENDOUS POWER

Illumination Sunday with Pastor Victor 2WHAT TO DO WITH TREMENDOUS POWER
Friday, 20th November 2020
Pastor Victor

James 5:16 .......The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. AMPC

Anytime you pray heartfelt and earnest prayer, tremendous power is released. Now, after you have prayed and tremendous power has been released, what do you do with the power that have been released? I tell you: that's the time to make kingly declarations and decrees by the Spirit; it is time to speak the word of God with power into being.

When you pray in tongues, power is released. What you do with that power will determine the way your life will go. If you don’t take advantage of that power, your life will not change that much even though you have power released for you. Power must be used for work. A lot of Christians have not known this secret I am sharing with you.

They spend quality time praying in tongues, stirring up so much power, but then go away without saying anything. Thank God for speaking in tongues. But that's not enough. When you pray in tongues, after a while, tremendous power will be released; you will know when it happens - there will be power all over you strong. At that time, what you need to do is to take advantage of the power released and use it for whatever you want.

THE LEGAL SIDE OF REDEMPTION

Illumination Sunday With Pastor VictorTHE LEGAL SIDE OF REDEMPTION
Thursday, 19th November 2020
Pastor Victor

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Redemption has two sides, the legal and the vital side. Understanding what these are, and knowing where we come in, will definitely put you over in the affairs of life. Many believers in Christ don’t even have a clue of this simple but profound concept in scripture.

Redemption simply means to purchase or buy back a property. In Bible days, lands and slaves and other things were redeemed by paying a price. And the one who redeems is called the “kinsman redeemer”; just like in the case of Ruth who was redeemed by Boaz.

The legal side of redemption in New Testament concept has to do with what Jesus came to do for us in His redemptive work – His sufferings, death on the cross and resurrection. And by what Jesus did in His redemptive program, the work concerning our righteousness, holiness, health, prosperity, and all the blessings of God is finished.

FAITH EMPOWERS YOU FOR A LIFE OF DIVINE POSSIBILITIES

Pastor Victor Akpovwerha 15 Nov 2020FAITH EMPOWERS YOU FOR A LIFE OF DIVINE POSSIBILITIES

Wednesday, 18th November 2020

Pastor Victor

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

With faith, there is nothing like impossibilities. There is no situation that is beyond faith. Faith is what makes all things possible. On the other hand, unbelief is what makes things impossible in a man’s life. Thus, if you will eliminate unbelief and unleash your faith, you will live a life of divine possibilities.

Our opening scripture says, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. So, you see, you don’t even need a huge faith to make things work for you. If your faith is like the size of a mustard seed, you will move mountains. This takes the stress out as a result of trying to have some huge faith to move mountains.

As far as God is concerned, if your faith says yes, He will not say no. Whatever your faith declares or claims, it is a done deal. And the key in releasing your faith is in “saying” according to God’s word. If you will “say” to this mountain, it shall move and nothing shall be impossible.

KINGS SPEAK MORE BUT DO LESS

Pastor Victor Akpovwerha 15 Nov 2020KINGS SPEAK MORE BUT DO LESS
Tuesday, 17th November 2020
Pastor Victor

Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

The higher one goes up in authority, the less he does and the more he speaks. Men in authority don’t do much. If they want anything accomplished, they only speak and it is done. When men of authority speak, people move into action to carry out that word of command or instruction.

It is the same with kings. Kings don’t do much. Whatever they want it done, they only speak. When kings speak, servants move into action. A king is known by his word; you really get to know a king when he speaks; and kings don’t talk anyhow. And where the word of a king is, there is power.

Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

THE MOST IMPORTANT ACTIVITY IN YOUR DAILY SCHEDULE

Pastor Victor Akpovwerha 15 Nov 2020THE MOST IMPORTANT ACTIVITY IN YOUR DAILY SCHEDULE
Monday, 16th November 2020
Pastor Victor

Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Faith gives you certainty. Anything that has no certainty does not have the element of faith in it. By saying that, I mean you can actually have a glorious day in each day of the week, month and year. This is not a myth; it is a reality. Scripture says, the path of the just is as the shining light; shining brighter and brighter until the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18).

There is something special about spending your first hours of the day with God; don’t take it for granted. It is a valid principle in the scriptures. Unfortunately, many don’t know this ancient truth. This is what most folks call it “quiet time”. It is more important than any activity in the daily schedule of a man.

This is what actually set the right tone for each day. God has to be first in all that we do. Someone may ask, can’t I pray at any other time in the day? You sure can; but it is of necessity you spend the first hours of your day with Jesus. It is part of the “principle of the first fruit offering”. According to the principle of the firstfruit, if you give God the firstfruit, the rest is of the harvest is sanctified. Hence the way to sanctify your day is to give God the first hours of your day to Him.
