PUT YOUR FAITH TO WORK

New Years EvePUT YOUR FAITH TO WORK
Thursday, 31st December 2020
Pastor Victor

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. KJV

Use the faith that you have. Every believer has faith; as long as your are born again, you already have faith. What you need to do is to put that faith to work through speaking and acting on the word. God expects you to do something with your faith. I believe your heavenly Father is excited whenever He sees you putting your faith to work; you may not see any results initially; it makes no difference; keep at it – very soon your faith will bring forth results.

One key to see your faith do mighty things is to use it in the small things. Use your faith against that headache, stomach pain, financial challenge, academic work, etc. As you put your faith to work in the small things, you will receive more Grace to do more.
For most believers, they never use their faith. It is not everything you run to the man of God. There are things that you use your faith to deal with them.

CHRIST IS YOUR JOY

New Years EveCHRIST IS YOUR JOY
Wednesday, 30th December 2020
Pastor Victor

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

Apostle Paul was in chains, but more happier and fulfilled than many living today with freedom and millions of dollars. Our joy doesn’t come from things. If we want true joy, we must take our eyes of this world and its pleasures and things, and focus it on Christ who is our true and eternal joy.

Our joy comes from serving the Lord in love and serving others with the power and love of Jesus. Seek to serve the Lord with your life. Find something worthwhile to do in the house of God. Get involved in soul winning; get involved in intercession for the nations; get involved in giving to the spread of the gospel of Christ; get involved in things that promote growth of the body of Christ.

JESUS KNOWS YOU

New Years EveJESUS KNOWS YOU
Tuesday, 29th December 2020
Pastor Victor

Mathew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Who are these that Jesus referred to that at the last day, the Lord will say, I knew you not? Are these Christians? Are they Christians who have sinned? If they are Christians who have sinned, then what kind of sin is that? Is there any sin that has not been forgiven nor remitted by the blood of Jesus? And which particular sin will make the Lord say to the believer I knew you not?

Let us juxtapose the opening scripture with another scripture which came from the very lips of the Master Himself:

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: John 10:27

WORKERS AND SHIRKERS!

New Years EveWORKERS AND SHIRKERS!
Monday, 28th December 2020
Pastor Victor

Nehemiah 3:5 And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their Lord.

Pastor Rick Warren once said that, "In every situation you’re going to have workers and shirkers.” As a Pastor, I have found this statement to be true. A worker is one who makes things happen while a shirker is a person who evades work, duty, and responsibility. You are either a worker or a shirker; there is no neutral ground.

Nehemaiah was an amazing leader. He was able to mobilise men to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem in 52 days. That’s incredible! Even though Nehemaiah was a great leader, he couldn’t get the noble men of Tekoa to be involved in the vision of rebuilding. These leaders just refused to be part of what was happening.

REDEEM THE TIME

New Years EveREDEEM THE TIME
Sunday, 27th December 2020
Pastor Victor

Ephesians 5:15‭-‬17 So then, be very careful how you live. Don’t live like foolish people but like wise people. Make the most of your opportunities because these are evil days. So don’t be foolish, but understand what the Lord wants. GW‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

From our opening scripture redeeming the time means being wise. Redeeming the time has to do with taking advantage of every opportunity, making the best use of time, making good use of every opportunity you have. It has to do with buying back the time. Thus, if you don’t use your time wisely, then you are not wise.

Sometimes it is just too late to do certain things. A man who is 60 years old and says he is training to sprint in the next Olympics is definitely not a serious man; probably something is wrong with his head. He hasn’t thought of time as a factor; he has not redeemed the time.
