I Corinthians 13:4‭, 6 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; ..........does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;‬‬‬‬

Love doesn’t rejoice in iniquity. One sure way to know a true child of God is that, when he does something wrong, he is never excited about it. Suddenly, he becomes remorseful and disturbed within; and godly sorrow comes upon him which leads him to repentance.

On the other hand, one who is not a child of God rejoices in iniquity because he isn’t a child of love. For the lack of the love of God, many just enjoy doing the wrong things of life.

Matthew 11:28‭-‬30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” MSG‬‬

God is not slow; neither is he too fast. God is always on time. Anytime He shows up is the best time. When Lazarus died, Jesus was informed; He was told that the one whom you love is sick. Yet, scripture says, He abode for some days. Finally, when Lazarus died, He told His disciples that let us go and raise him up from the dead.

To the natural mind, why would Jesus wait till the man died before going to raise him up from the dead? In fact, when Jesus got to the tomb of Lazarus, he was already dead four days and has began stinking as decomposition has already started.

Jesus raised Lazarus back to life and news went round. He that was dead four days came out alive. Was Jesus late? Never! Jesus didn’t move anyhow while He walked on earth. He walked with the rhythm of the Spirit. While some would have rushed immediately when they heard that Lazarus was sick, He decided to delay till the man was dead four days.

YOU HAVE DIVINE IMMUNITY

Mark 16:18 ....if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them......

This is divine immunity. It is just too much for the human mind to comprehend. Jesus knew the world in which we live in ahead of time. He knew there will be wicked men and women who will like to poison us through food thus He gave us divine immunity long before they will ever plot that evil. Child of God, do not be afraid of poison; you are all covered. It is in the covenant; it is your covenant right.

One time, certain armed robbers intercepted a man of God while he journeyed on the road. They forced him out his car, pulled out the battery and pour out the liquid inside and mixed some concoction and gave to him to drink and die. Some folks will just pass out even before drinking the substance.

This dear man of God who have been captured by these sons of the devil, held the substance and prayed: Thank you Father for this substance. It nourishes my body in Jesus‘ name. Then he drank it as ordered by the armed robbers. Then they looked on to see him die. After watching for a while and man did not even show any signs of death, they took to their heels.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

A resume is simply a document that contains the personal information of an individual as regards to educational qualifications, working experience, interests, skills, qualities etc. When you pick someone’s resume, you immediately get to know who the person is and what he can do. And employers use that to hire people for their work.

In Christ also, the believer has a resume; what makes him a believer. I am talking about the uniqueness of the believer; what sets him apart from the world. Our opening scripture lets us know that if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. The believer is a new creation. He is not the reformation of the old man but an entirely new specie of being that never existed before.

The believer was born without sin; he was created in righteousness and true holiness. The sin nature is completely dead and passed away. It has no power over the new man in Christ. This new creation has no past; he is entirely new. He is not connected to the old lineage of Adam. All that was in Adam cannot be found in him. But all that is found in Christ is found in him.

For every move of God, the devil always want to find ways and means to corrupt it. When the faith movement came, folks took the teachings of faith to the extreme. One lady preacher used Mark 11:23 to claim Kenneth Copeland since it says, you will have whatever you say. In fact, she went ahead and had a wedding ceremony for that matter even though Kenneth Copeland was not present. This is foolishness gone to sea!

The error was that she used that scripture in isolation of other scriptures that says, what God has joined together let no man put asunder. Well, it did not work. Error is simply pushing a truth to the extreme and to the exclusion of other truths. Unfortunately, I see the same thing happening to the Grace Movement. Many grace teachers are pushing the teaching of grace to the extreme to the exclusion of other truths.

When you teach that we are not supposed to tithe under grace, you are not rightly diving the truth. Tithing came before the law hence has nothing to do with the law. Melchisedec received tithes from Abraham the father of us all. Jesus came in the order and rank of Melchisedec thus Jesus is still receiving tithes today. And our tithes is a witness that Jesus is still alive.
