The Blessing of Obedience To Divine Instructions

Luke 5:4-7
[4]Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
[5]And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
[6]And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
[7]And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
The key thing here to the abundance Peter and his friends experienced is that they acted on the word of Jesus. The obedience was important. But it was what word was obeyed and acted upon that was the main thing. It’s the combination of the word of Jesus and obedience of Peter that brought the increase.
As long as Peter kept on wondering about the wisdom in the instruction that Jesus gave him, his net was empty. His breakthrough came only when he acted on the word of Jesus by faith. What Jesus said to Peter went against all logical conclusions. It defied all fishing experience of Peter and his friends.
One of the most important things in the kingdom is divine instructions. This is what the giants of the kingdom use to thrive cheaply and effortlessly.
In this kingdom, you cannot fly high without divine instructions from the Spirit. You may as well do well acting on the scriptures. But there is so much you are going to miss if you ignore Rhema via the Spirit’s instructions.

Now, don’t get me wrong. There is a lot to gain from studying the scriptures. It will give you stability and balance, and also deliver you from error.
But nearly all the mighty acts of the faith hall of fame came as a result of hearing from God. They acted upon what God told them and they saw mighty miracles. Their hearing from God triggered the Spirit of faith into manifestation.
God instructed Abraham to leave his father’s house and also offer up Isaac. Moses was commanded to stretch forth the rod or strike the rock. Elijah was commanded to go to the widow of Zarephath for sustenance.
Remember Jesus spoke directly to Peter – this is Rhema word. Peter acted on the word of Jesus. Then came the net breaking and boat sinking miracle. The harvest was so much that they had to call for help.

Instructions from God is what you need to seek from God. Ask the Lord to instruct you. Pray for it for it will make all the difference in your life.
Psalms 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Hearing from God is one of the true riches of the kingdom. It will make all the difference. Folks who do not hear from God are missing too much goodies. Gentiles only comes to your light. Thus if you don’t have light, no one comes to you.
Isaiah 60:3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
What light have you received from the Lord that you are walking with? What are the divine guiding instructions that you are living by? It is that light that you have received that men will come to. Light attracts while darkness repels.
Ecclesiastes 11:7 Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun:
This scripture tells you the reason why light attracts. Light attracts because it is sweet and pleasant.
