FAITH IS WHAT MOVES MOUNTAINS

FAITH IS WHAT MOVES MOUNTAINS

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

From our opening scripture, it is clear that the force to move mountains is faith. It is not tears and crying and begging God. Faith is what gives you the ability to move mountains. This is vital. In most places in scripture where it talks about moving mountains, the element required has always been faith.

1 Corinthians 13:2 ……and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, ……..

GOD SUPPLIES YOUR NEED BY YOUR GIVING

GOD SUPPLIES YOUR NEED BY YOUR GIVING

Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. ESV

God has His own delivery systems that He operates with to deliver things to His kids. For instance, preaching is God’s delivery system to bring salvation, healing and prosperity to the church. The Lord’s supper is also God’s delivery system to minister divine health to His people.

Our opening scripture is one known and quoted by many believers in Christ around the world. What many don’t do is to read that scripture in its context. If you check the context of that scripture, Apostle Paul was talking about how the Philippian church engaged in the law of giving and receiving gave. And in response he prayed that God will supply every need of theirs.

THE GIFT OF NO CONDEMNATION

THE GIFT OF NO CONDEMNATION

John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

True Christianity is from “being” to “works”; it is not “works” to “being”. Let me explain: the believer do not have to live righteously to become righteous. We were made righteous the day we became born again, having confessed the Lordship of Jesus. Thus we do righteous acts because we are righteous. This is very vital.

Many preaching in the church is all backward. Many preach that if you live right you will be made righteous and holy. I am sorry to tell you that that is a big lie from the pit of hell; and it cannot happen. You do not live righteous to become righteous; you do not become holy by living holy. Holy people do holy things.

GRACE OPPOSITION!

Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

When Jesus was on earth, who were His greatest opposition? It will shock you to know that they were not the sinners and tax collectors. Jesus greatest opposition were the religious folks of the day; the religious leaders which comprised of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Who were the people Jesus pronounced curses and woes upon? Again, they were not the tax collectors and sinners. Jesus pronouncement of woes came upon the religious leaders of the Jews. Jesus was always against this religious folks who had a form of God but has denied the power; these were self righteous folks – these were the holier that thou people.

BEHOLD THE CROSS!

BEHOLD THE CROSS!

Pastor Victor

Ps 16:8 ¶ I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

In the wilderness, Israel camped facing the tabernacle of Moses while their backs faced the world. God does not want His people to behold the world; He wants us beholding His glory in the cross. The story of Israel tells us that the world is inferior to the church because their backs were facing the world while their faces were toward the tabernacle, the glory of God.

The world has nothing good to offer us in terms of health, finances, education, prosperity and the likes. They function with lesser principles while we function with a higher truth. The fact that Israel’s back was against the world and their faces was toward the tabernacle implies that all that God wants is for us to be conscious of the cross and nothing else. In it is the inheritance of rest of the believer.
