Ephesians 6:11-12 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Prayer is our main source of strength and protection from the terror of hell. If we don’t pray, we are in big trouble. We are dealing with things we cannot see with our optical eyes. It will be stupid to throw away prayer and fight spiritual battles with your natural strength. How much can your intellectualism do for you? Scripture admonishes to pray with all prayers and supplications.

Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

The life that God has called us into, is a life of progress and upward movement only. Anything short of that is not God’s will for you. What a life that we have in Christ Jesus!

When the day dawns, its light seems much dimmer. But as the day progresses, the light increases in intensity and brightness, till the sun is at its peak at midday. This is the way scripture describes the life of the righteous man in Christ Jesus.

Ezekiel 43:21 Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.

There is an appointed place for everyone to thrive. The fish relevance is found in water. If you put it on land, it is just a matter of time; it will suffocate and die. Appointed place of destiny is firstly, the local church where God has planted you. If you leave your appointed place, your life goes into tangent.

The church where you are planted matters a lot. You cannot just change church all by yourself. There is a place that God has designed for your growth and prosperity.

1 Thessalonians 2:18 Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.

The devil’s job is to attack your destiny so that you will not become what God has destined you to be. He tries to shift you away from God’s perfect plan and will for your life. When Moses was born, the devil entered into Pharaoh to destroy all the male children born at the time. But God had His own ideas – He preserved Moses’ life. He used Moses’ own enemies to take care of him.

When Jesus was born, the devil entered into Herod to destroy His destiny. All the male children under the age of 2 were killed. But because of destiny, God preserved the life of Jesus. When Archbishop Benson Idahosa was born, he was born a sickler, left on a dung hill to die. His father never wanted to have anything to do with him. But God preserved his life.
