Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. Creativity is characterized by the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns, to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutions (Creativityatwork.com). It also involves generating new useful ideas.

Without creativity we are in big trouble. In this dynamic world, the element of creativity cannot be taken for granted. Without creativity everything becomes just normal. If you want excellence and making a difference in your world, you must embrace creativity. Life will be very dull and uninteresting without creativity. In fact, everything would have been the same. Creativity is the womb of inventions. Someone created the light bulb; someone manufactured cars; the air plane is someone’s creation, someone made computers etc. Where is your creative work?

Phillipians 3:9 ¶ And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.

When Elijah contested with the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, he asked them to put a sacrifice on the altar – only a sacrifice. The prophets of baal called on baal till noon and there was no response. Elijah ridiculed them; and they started leaping on the altar and cutting themselves with knives and bled. This they did to invoke the power of baal to bring fire on the sacrifice.

This is a picture of self-righteousness – they were saying in essence, the sacrifice is not enough for the fire to fall; let us add our efforts and it resulted in frustration. Think about this: what if the fire had fallen while they were leaping on the altar? They would have been burnt to ashes.

Genesis 30:41‭-‬42 And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods. But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's.

Jacob only placed the rods in front of the strong animals when they came to the waters to mate. When the weaker animals came, he did not put the rod there in front of them.

Jacob invested his time on what gave him greater dividends. If you spend your time on things that don't matter, you will get nothing, and you would have wasted your time.

JESUS’ NAME, OUR STRONG TOWER

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous run into it, and is safe.

Even the Italian defense has been broken through on several occasions; but not the defense of God. When God Almighty defends you, you are indeed safe. Now this scripture is an Old Testament one. In the New Testament, we do not need to run into the name of the Lord because we are in Christ hence we are in the name of Jesus – we were born into that name. The cross changed everything; if you don’t know that you have to wake up from slumber.

It does not matter the songs folks might have sang from this scripture; they are all inconsistent with the New Testament teachings. What we need to do in the New Testament is to have a comprehension of the power in the name of Jesus and how to use that name for our advantage. This is the name that demons flee at its mention. The devil and his cohorts cannot stand that matchless name of Jesus.

Proverb 20:27 The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD searching all the inward parts of his belly.

God deals and relate to your spirit because He is a spirit. And the spirit of the new creation is perfect and complete (Colossains 2:10) – it does not need any improvement. And you must know that this is how your spirit will be throughout eternity. Hallelujah! When Jesus comes you are not going to receive purified spirit; it is this same spirit you will have; you will only receive a new soul and a resurrected body.

Man is a spirit and he has a soul and lives in a body. This is basic truth about the nature of man. The spirit of the believer is perfect. But your soul and body are not. If there is any cleansing you need, it is not your spirit but your soul. And this cleansing work is that of renewing of the mind for transformation (Romans 12:2). It is vital you know this truth; other than that you will struggle knowing the bible. All uncleanness are in the soulish realm. But your spirit is perfect and will not require purification. All your sins have been cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus forever. And you have been perfected forever.
