Matthew 9:28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

The same faith you need to heal a headache is the same faith you need to heal a cancer. Don’t be surprised! It is all a question of what you believe. Most people view cancer as a very big case as compared to a headache. Hence when it comes to cancer, we think it has to take some strange faith to be healed. But if we look at it from the Spirit’s point of view, we will realize that the same anointing that heals headaches is the same anointing that heals cancer. Approach cancer the same way you would a headache; see it as nothing. Jesus’ stripes covered every sickness and diseases hence all sicknesses have been defeated.

Revelation 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Judah was associated with the lion; the lion was their symbol. And Jesus descended from the tribe of Judah, being a descendant of David. This is interesting. In the same book of Revelation, Jesus is described as the Lamb of God. Now we are seeing Him as a lion from our theme scripture. These are the many sidedness of Jesus, the Son of the living God.

THE GLORY IN US

Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Several years ago as a teenager, I came in contact with this scripture. It was in a church service; my mother had some bad incident happened to her and God delivered her. Before she gave her testimony, my elder brother, Napoleon, read that scripture. And it has stuck with me over the years. And that scripture was so comforting. Praise God!

The trials and temptations you may be going through right now may be so overwhelming and depressive. And sometimes you feel like quitting or throwing in the towel. But I have good news for you: this sufferings are just for a moment; and cannot be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Notice it did not say, the glory which shall be revealed “to” us but “in” us. The glory is already in us. All we need to do is to get into the position of faith for its release.

Psalm 149:4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

God created us for His pleasure and delight. He delights greatly in us. Don’t let this surprise you. If you were not raised in the word, knowing that God loves you, statements like this will startle you. One of my delightful moments is spending time with my two lovely and beautiful daughters. Every move they make just bring another excitement – it is a delight watching them grow. It gives me pleasure to see my life growing in them.
